Oh what a trooper he was!  Not a single fuss…not a peep!  He was super groggy from all the drugs they gave him but once he was able to sleep it off – he was back to new!  We’ve opted to not give him the Hyrdocodone they prescribed and instead will use just Tyenol.  I know they’re both still “drugs” but he doesn’t seem to be in too much pain so I’m hoping the Tylenol will do the trick.  We gave him the Hydrocodone yesterday and I watched the effects take hold of him as he drifted off to sleep.  It was too freaky to me..and scary.  I kept going putting my hand on his chest to make sure he was still breathing.  I mean it really zonked him out!  This morning we gave him Tylenol and he was able to play and it didn’t seem to make him sleepy.  Anyways – all is right again in our house!  Just glad and very thankful that it’s all over and his is on the way to recovery!
