Eco friendly birthday parties for kids are becoming more and more popular. And it’s really easy if you have (and want to take) the time to do some research and think a little outside the box. Since my family is really giving this eco friendly thing a good go - I have done my homework. Mwah ahh hahh. Okie, dokie.
Now Kiki will only be turning one so this party is mainly a celebration that we, as his parents, made it. We survived year one and only have seventeen left to go. We are still married, still in love, still like each other’s company, have all of our hair, do not have a drug or drinking problem and still have a somewhat respectable sex life. (Sorry hun, but I felt it was important for the integrity of the post, to mention it.) But in the spirit of going “green”, I really want this party to be a true reflection of us and how we try to live our life on a daily basis with respect to living naturally. I’m still working out some of the details and once it’s all over, I’ll share with you guys what I came up with, companies/products I used and some things you can do to make you’re next party a little greener. Stay tuned!
