Listen – this blog is NOT intended to be a lesson in hand holding for you folks! What I want to do is empower each and every one of you to do your OWN research and make your OWN decisions. All I’m doing is showing you where and how to get this info yourself so you can make the right decision for you and your family. I am really interested in and dedicated to getting all the chemicals that are harmful to my peeps and Mama Earth out of my hands and my home. It would be lovely to rid the planet of all those disgusting MAN MADE chemicals one day but you’ve gotta think global and act local, right? It all starts at home! So my mission is to just share with you…that’s all. And if you’ve got some tips or something you have come across that is a bonus to what’s going on here…well, share that with ME. I don’t know everything and I certainly have not made that claim…but I think education is the cornerstone for evoking some sort of shift on our planet. I want this to be a community effort and I know that the more we learn and the more we SHARE with each other…the better chance WE have for making a difference.
Ooo, ooo, ooo – wait, don’t go yet! I wanted put up this site from the Environmental Working Group that I just came across. I was looking up the ingredients on the bottle of Aveeno that I’ve been using to bath Kiki and I found this…it’s sooo cool! You can lookup differnt brands of cosmetics and it’ll tell you what’s in them and how dangerous (or not) they are.
