Vaccines are one of those things that you don’t want to do..but eventually at some point, you’re going to have to. Yes, in VA you can claim “religious exemption” but A) I don’t like to lie and B) I would take to take Kiki to another country at some point in this life. So we did our homework before he was born and decided that we would vaccinate but on a delayed schedule and with several months in between each shot and only allow single shots at a time.
Now let me tell you – there are very few pediatricians in R, VA that will agree to a delayed schedule and even fewer that will know what a delayed schedule is. But after several interviews we found a pediatrician that even though she had never used a delayed schedule for vaccines, she was open to it and was willing to work with us. We also told her that we preferred Eastern Medicine and holistic therapies over Western and she was totally cool with that as well. If you’re looking for a pediatrician, send me an email and I’ll tell you who she is.
I went to the National Vaccine Information Center (www.NVIC.org) today to see if there was any new information regarding vaccines. I did find this information that I def want to share with you guys. So here goes….
- The CDC admits that 1 in 6 children is developmentally delayed.
- In the past 25 years, the number of American kids with ADHD, asthma and diabetes has more than tripled.
- Autism increases range from 200% to over 5, 000% in some states.
- In 1969, 1 in 7100 kids were diabetic. Today 1 in 450 kids are diabetic.
- In 1970, 4 in 10, 000 kids had autism. Today 1 in 175 are autistic.
- In 1976, 769, 000 kids had learning disabilities. Today more than 3 million kids are learning disabled.
- In 1979, 2 million kids had asthma. Today 9 million kids have asthma.
- In 1997, 1.6 million kids had ADHD. Today, 4 million kids have ADHD.
And this one is the kicker!
- In, 1980 the CDC and AAP said kids should get 23 does of 7 vaccines by the age of six years old with the first vaccinations given at 2 months.
TODAY THE CDC AND AAP TELL OUR PEDIATRICIANS TO GIVE OUR KIDS 48 DOSES OF 14 VACCINES BY THE AGE OF 6 WITH THE FIRST DOES GIVEN AT 12 HOURS OLD IN THE NURSERY. AT 6 MONTHS OLD A CHILD CAN RECEIVE 8 VACCINES ON A SINGLE DAY. AT AGE 15 MONTHS, A CHILD CAN RECEIVE AS MANY AS 12 VACCINES ON A GIVEN DAY.
WTF????????????????????????????
Think about this….does giving a 6 month old infant 8 vaccines in one visit sound like a good idea???? If Kiki’s pediatrician suggested on giving him 8 of ANYTHING I would snatch up my kid and run like hell!!!!!! But here’s the beauty of being in the US….you can chose to vaccinate your child in whatever way seems right to you. But please do your homework and research!! Get the facts on vaccination! Talk to your pediatrician before they vaccinate your kid! Adopt a delayed schedule if you want!!! You can’t just roll into your pediatricians office and hand over your kid and let them do whatever they want. The facts are out there as plain as day. You just have to take the time and do the work!
The reason we did chose to vaccinate but on a delayed schedule was because we do not believe a single vaccine itself can cause these issues BUT I do believe that an overload of the immune system with vaccines can cause more physical illness and stress on the body in the form of developmental delays.
If you decide that vaccinations are right for you and your family, get them one or two at the most, at a time…give ample time between each shot for your little one’s immune system to develop the antibodies and recover. And if you’re done vaccinating your kids and you want to know how detox your child, there is info out there on the net. I’m not going to discuss the vaccine detox because I haven’t done enough reading about it to talk about it. But I’m sure if you google Jenny McCarthy, vaccine detox, chelation or something of the like, you can find out more.
Please visit this site and do your homework!!!!
